Siria Yasabel Bojorguez (Miss United States) from Texas Tech University is the winner of World Miss University 2011 held in Korea



The U.S. wins World Miss University 2011

The World Miss University 2011 pageant took place in Korea earlier tonight, and the winner was Miss United States, Siria Yasabel Bojorguez, 18, from Texas Tech University.

The 1st runner-up was Miss Poland, Monika Plochocka, and the 2nd runner-up was Miss India, Swetha Sridhar.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba - Lucianette Verhoeks was selected as the official Miss Aruba 2011 at the conclusion of a special crowning ceremony held at the House of Mosaic in Oranjestad. She will represent Aruba in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on July 4. The national pageant was postponed for July 2012 where Miss Aruba 2012 will be crowned for Miss World 2013.

Jennifer Sedler was crowned Miss Arizona 2011 Saturday night at Mesquite High School in Gilber. She will represent Arizona in Miss America 2012 pageant. The first runner-up was Rebecca Hasulak. The second runner-up was Kyra Batté. The third runner-up was Tiffany Hilburn and the fourth runner-up was Melody Knudson.
Jennifer Sedler’s platform was, “Making a Difference in the Lives of Children with Life Threatening Illnesses: Support For HopeKids.” She performed jazz dance in Talent Competition.

Jessica Aguirre Crowned The National Miss American Coed Victory 2012

Miss Southern California American Coed Victory Jessica Aguirre from Downey, California was crowned the National Miss American Coed Victory 2012 on November 24th, 2011 in Orlando, Florida at the Hilton Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Jessica is the daughter of Thomas and Teresa Aguirre.

Jessica triumphant walk across the stage was just the beginning of a journey that will take her to every corner of the country during her year of service as Miss American Coed Victory 2012. Jessica plans on attending charity events, award banquets and speaking to audiences about her platform “Get Involved” in which she promotes community service and giving back to others.

Jessica is a 21-year-old student at California State University Fullerton. Her scholastic ambition is to be a Community Services Director. Along with the title of Miss American Coed Victory 2012, Jessica also won overall photogenic in her division and a scholarship to continue her education.

American Coed Pageants annually holds state pageants for the purpose of recognizing and rewarding outstanding young woman between the ages of three and twenty four for their past and present accomplishments and to encourage them to set and achieve high goals for the future. Jessica qualified to attend the national competition by placing as a top finalist in the annual Miss Southern California Coed Pageant for 2011. Since 1983, millions of dollars in cash awards and prizes have been presented to outstanding girls at the state and national competition.
